Accounts Receivable II (ARII)/Business Office Assistant
(Skilled Nursing Home experience preferably )
Casa de Ramana Rehabilitation Center is a Joint Commission, American Healthcare Association Bronze Medal Award-winning, short-term rehab, long term, respite, and skilled nursing care community. We are conveniently located in Framingham, MA.
The Accounts Receivable II (ARII)/Business Office Assistant’s responsibilities include:
Reviews remittances for denial and re-bill as required.
Makes collection calls for all payer classes following timely review of accounts receivable aging.
Assists Business Office Manager in cash deposits and census, with Pernal Needs Account duties, and the month-end process.
Demonstrates:
Knowledge and understanding of the importance of respect for the rights, dignity and individuality of each resident in all interactions.
Satisfactory level of interpersonal skills to interact with the center staff, administration, residents, families, vendors, and government agencies.
Honesty and integrity at all times in the care and use of resident and center property.
Attention to detail.
Knowledge of Masshealth Eligibility and application process.
Some knowledge of Long Term Care Account Receivable process.
Education of the Accounts Receivable II (ARII)/Business Office Assistant:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical training preferred.
Experience for the Accounts Receivable II (ARII)/Business Office Assistant:
A minimum of one year of prior third-party billing/collection experience required.
The AR II / Business Office Assistant is a part-time, 24 hour per week position up to $26.44/hour, apx. $55,000.00 annually.
