The Associate Producer will work closely with our production team to facilitate the creation of both internal and external photography & video content. This role requires strong organizational skills, flexibility to react to fast timelines, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once. The Associate Producer will ensure content is delivered on time, within budget, and adhering to the brand’s guidelines and vision. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to contribute creatively and strategically to Rivian’s storytelling efforts.

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of content production for internal communications, marketing campaigns, and external brand content.
• Collaborate with executive producers, creative teams, and external partners to ensure smooth production workflows from concept to delivery — including helping to secure talent, locations, and vendors.
• Assist with onboarding, PO, invoicing for vendors, and other administrative tasks as needed.
• Assist with content archiving, asset management, and ensuring all content aligns with Rivian’s brand standards — including organizing and and logging raw footage, ensuring proper storage, and file naming conventions, and keeping detailed records of project.
• Assist with gear and hardware storage and organization in onsite
• Manage production schedules, timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring all projects stay on track.
• Liaise with internal departments, including marketing, communications, and product teams, to gather content requirements and align on objectives and assist with coordinating the final delivery of videos to internal partners.
• Support the post-production process, including feedback collection, editing coordination, music licensing and final delivery of assets.
• Oversee logistical aspects of shoots, including talent coordination & contracts, equipment rentals, and location management.
• Contribute ideas to improve content production processes and elevate storytelling approaches.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 2-3 years of experience in video production
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Curiosity for learning and contributing to the internal and external Communications narrative
• Comfort taking ownership of multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong team-oriented mindset, able to embrace flexible work across time zones and collaborate to get the work done.
• The capacity to thrive in dynamic and ambiguous environments, while being flexible, collaborative, and reliable
• Ability to follow quick and ambiguous instructions and deliver against them
• Excellent organization and adherence to deadlines; you are the glue holding team members accountable and keeping projects on track

Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $112,100 to $140,100 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
