Azure Cloud Security Engineer

Our client is a leading innovator is seeking a top-tier Senior Azure Cloud Security Engineer to join their growing team.

About the Role:

We are searching for a highly motivated and experienced security professional to play a key role in safeguarding the cloud environment. You will collaborate with engineers, developers, and security professionals across the organization to implement and maintain a robust cloud security posture.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls for our Azure cloud environment.
• Partner with DevSecOps and DevOps teams to integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle.
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures for infrastructure and application security.
• Conduct security assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud security threats and technologies.
• Respond to security incidents and implement remediation plans.
• Develop and maintain security automation using scripting languages. (Python, Bash, PowerShell etc.)
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Azure security engineering.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps and DevOps methodologies.
• Experience with infrastructure security, application security, and enterprise security best practices.
• Proficiency in scripting languages for security automation.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
