For this position, specialized experience is experience setting up and conducting an experiment or research project related to biological sciences; collecting, preparing, and evaluating bee culture samples for sequencing and supporting records; and summarizing research results for preparation in scientific reports or manuscripts.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
