Job Description

Exam One a Quest diagnostics subsidiary is a national screening company and provider of on-site health and wellness screenings for corporations throughout the United States.

We are currently looking for experienced health professionals to work on a PRN or contractual basis. Preferably someone who has experience working for a biometric screening company like RAMP, LabCorp, Quest or Onsite Health. Our screenings are held at locations in Southeastern Wisconsin. The ideal candidate should reside in Wisconsin or a close bordering state for travel purposes. Health screenings typically last between 4-8 hours and are usually held Monday through Friday.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet participants and provide instructions to complete the screening process, as necessary.
• Obtain measurement of height utilizing stadiometer; measurement of weight utilizing a scale.
• Assessment of resting blood pressure using a manual blood pressure cuff.
• Ability to properly perform venipuncture blood draws within two attempts when required.
• Accurately record participant screening data on paper.
• Assist in troubleshooting of screening issues as needed.
• Assist in the preparation and breakdown of screening stations.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Candidates must have the knowledge and skills to accurately and confidentially, measure and document results at various screening stations. 
• Blood Pressure- You must have training using a manual cuff.
• Venipuncture- You must have on-the-job training or a certification in phlebotomy.
• Candidates must have a valid driver's license.
• Candidates must have their own transportation and be willing to travel to local events.
• A background check and a drug test are required.

EDUCATION/LICENSE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completion of a phlebotomy or medical assistant program.
• Current phlebotomy and or/medical certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a mobile phlebotomist obtaining biometrics (manual blood pressure, height, weight, calculate BMI) and experience performing venipuncture draws at client sights required.
