Role Overview:
We are seeking a Chief of Staff who will work closely with the CEO and help lead SOULCHI's operations. As a strategic partner to the CEO, you will provide high-level support across various functions, ensuring that SOULCHI runs efficiently while maintaining focus on our goals. You will play a critical role in helping integrate systems, manage cross-functional initiatives, and build partnerships. This role requires a combination of excellent management skills, strategic insight, and a deep understanding of organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Integration and Operational Excellence:
    Spearhead the implementation of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), ensuring smooth integration of the EOS meeting structure, cadences, and processes across the organization. Collaborate closely with the CEO to ensure alignment between operational execution and strategic vision.
  2. Partnership Building and External Relations:
    Cultivate and manage key external partnerships. Act as a liaison for the CEO in building strategic relationships and fostering collaborations that will help scale the organization's impact.
  3. Leadership and Team Management:
    Oversee team management and ensure effective communication across departments. Provide leadership on key projects and support team members in achieving goals. Act as the primary point of contact for the CEO in managing internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that decisions are executed efficiently and in alignment with SOULCHI's strategic priorities.
  4. Goal Setting and Performance Tracking:
    Lead the development and execution of quarterly Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), ensuring the organization remains focused and aligned on its targets. Develop systems to track and measure success across multiple areas of operation, identifying areas for improvement and proactive problem-solving.
  5. Project Management and Execution:
    Manage the seamless execution of cross-functional projects. Oversee timelines, resource allocation, and coordination, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and meet quality standards.
  6. Decision-Making Support for CEO:
    Support the CEO in key decision-making processes, acting as a trusted advisor and providing strategic insights on important initiatives. Represent the CEO in high-level external communications and decision-making processes as needed.

Skills and Qualities Required:

  1. Operational Expertise: Strong experience in operations management, including process optimization, project management, and systems integration.
  2. Leadership and Management Skills: Proven experience in managing teams, facilitating collaboration, and overseeing complex projects. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and align them with organizational goals.
  3. Effective Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to manage external and internal stakeholders effectively.
  4. Strategic Vision: Ability to understand and contribute to the company's strategic goals while driving day-to-day operations.
  5. Proactive and Metrics-Driven: Ability to define, track, and measure performance across all initiatives. Comfortable with data-driven decision-making and adapting strategies based on metrics.
  6. Integrity and Discretion: High level of discretion and integrity in handling sensitive and confidential information.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as a Chief of Staff or in a senior leadership role, ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  2. Expertise in implementing EOS, project management, and building external partnerships.
  3. Demonstrated ability to manage teams, projects, and organizational change.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills with a talent for relationship-building both internally and externally.
  5. Comfortable working in a flexible, remote environment, with the ability to manage your time effectively across different time zones.

Equity-Based Compensation Opportunity:
As part of the SOULCHI team, you'll participate in our equity-based compensation model, aligning your success with the success of our business. We use the Slicing Pie model, where equity calculations dynamically adjust based on your fair market rate and actual number of hours worked. At the break-even point, equity freezes and compensation switches to salary + benefits, with equity payouts occurring annually as part of profit-sharing.
