Bristol Bay Construction Holdings, LLC (BBCH) is growing! We are seeking a talented Superintendent/QC Manager/Site Safety and Health Officer (Trihat) to join our dynamic team! This role entails scheduling, quality control, safety and occupational health management, monitoring, assessments, safety site orientation, activity-specific education, and assurance of compliance.   • Manage the overall quality and production of work to ensure compliance with Contract Documents.
  • Oversee all planning, direction, coordination, and budgeting for project activities.
  • Daily coordination and communication with the Project Manager is essential.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Owner as required.
  • Supervise subcontractor, contractor, owner, inspector, and AHJ field coordination on a daily basis.
  • Conduct weekly subcontractor coordination meetings to ensure smooth operations.
  • Attend and actively participate in weekly Owner’s meetings.
  • Review and understand the subcontractor’s subcontracted scope of work to prevent extra work or lost time.
  • Be knowledgeable about the subcontractor’s budget and cost structure.
  • Familiarize yourself with the Baseline Project Schedule and provide monthly input on dates, durations, and coordination.
  • Prepare detailed short-term look-ahead schedules on a weekly basis.
  • Organize and conduct coordination meetings as needed to support the Project Schedule.
  • Coordinate with Subcontractors and Owner for monthly progress billing.
  • Responsible for overseeing quality control and safety programs.
  • Supervise deliveries, staging, loading, and unloading activities.
  • Manage the usage of equipment on-site, such as cranes or earth-moving equipment.
  • Ensure project compliance with national and/or local building codes.
  • Maintain accurate daily records of project activities.
  • Implement safety and occupational health management, surveillance, inspections, and site safety orientation.
  • Conduct safety meetings regularly to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Attend pre-construction conferences and pre-work meetings, including three-phase inspection meetings.
  • Develop and review preconstruction safety submittals.
  • Review safety submittals for compliance with regulations.
  • Enforce accepted Accident Prevention Plans to minimize risks.
  • Review, develop, and enforce subcontractor activity-specific Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA).
  • Monitor and enforce subcontractor safety and health compliance.
  • Conduct continuous safety and health inspections and maintain detailed records.
  • Investigate mishaps and complete necessary reports.
  • Monitor and track safety and health deficiencies until resolved.
  • Attach safety inspection logs to the Contractors' daily quality control report in RMS and Procore.
  • Maintain the OSHA Form 300 and Daily Production reports for prime and sub-contractors.
  • Keep safety reference material on the job site readily accessible.
  • Maintain a list of hazardous chemicals on-site along with their material safety data sheets.
Qualifications:
  • Must have experience managing Federal Construction projects, specifically with USACE (United States Army Corps of Engineers) Projects
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible safety work is required
  • Should have at least 5 years of continuous construction industry safety experience managing general construction projects, overseeing safety programs, conducting hazard analyses, and developing controls
  • Must possess 5 years of experience working on similar projects with EM 385-1-1 experience
  • Completion of EM 385 1-1 40hr training is mandatory
  • Must have OSHA 30hr certification
  • Experience with Procore is required
  • Familiarity with RMS is a plus
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PDF is necessary
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and satisfactory references and background check are required
