Job Title:  Controller

Remote: Only applicants residing in the Pacific, Mountain, or Central Time Zones will be considered, due to operational requirements and alignment with business hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Payroll.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Partner with operations and supply chain teams to analyze production costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and enhance profitability.
• Manage cash flow, forecasting, and treasury functions.
• Support external audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and business growth initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and manufacturing-specific regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance roles, with at least 3 years in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting principles specific to manufacturing.
• Strong proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.).
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.

PAY TRANSPARENCY: The estimated annual pay range for this position is $135k - $150k + discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will be determined by the hiring authority and may vary depending on qualifications and other factors relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
