Debt Collector Location Hybrid work in Houston, TX :

Are you an experienced Third Party Debt Collector looking for your next exciting opportunity? FMA ALLIANCE is seeking driven and skilled individuals to join our team. We are a well-established and reputable company in the debt collection industry, known for our ethical practices, and professional approach.

```Duties:```- Contact individuals who have outstanding debts to collect payment

- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with debtors- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities- Follow legal and ethical guidelines when dealing with debtors- Utilize accounting software to track and manage accounts receivable- Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of debt records- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and payment issues- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices for debt collection

```Qualifications:```- Previous experience in debt collection preferred- Strong mathematical skills for calculating balances, interest, and fees- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills- Ability to handle difficult conversations with empathy and professionalism- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in record keeping- Understanding of debits, credits, and financial transactions
