Title: Design Reviewer
Location: Grand Junction, CO or Remote
Status: Full-time, exempt
Hiring Range: $100,000.00 to $118,000.00 per year, depending on education and years of experience.
Scope:
Review Design Bid Build (DBB) project Milestones for accuracy of what the 1390/91 has approved and ensure the design follows the appropriate Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), ARNG, and ARNG G-9 Design Criteria and Manuals/Guidance.
The specific milestones are:
MILCON Design Review /FME Support:
The reviewer shall perform criteria design reviews of project submittals for completeness and compliance with IAW applicable publications listed in paragraph 6.0 and the approved DD Forms 1390/91.
The reviewer shall draft a review memorandum at the completion of each design review and submit it to the FME within 2 weeks of receipt of complete review submittal.
The FME will coordinate with the reviewer ensure the memorandum contains the ARNG G-9 required elements and must be formatted per AR 25-50.
The FME will finalize the draft memorandum for processing and approval prior to sending it back to the corresponding States, Territories, or the District of Columbia.
Location:
Most design reviews shall be conducted remotely. However, the employee may be required to perform up to 6 on-board reviews per year at the State’s facility location to expedite project execution.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline and at least sic (6) years or relevant experience.
Candidate must also have a minimum of three (3) years of experience as an ARNG CFMO/DCFMO, or ARNG Project Manager, or demonstrated equivalent of understanding National Guard regulations.
A demonstrated understanding of the processing of DD Form 1354, DD Forms 1390/91, NGB 86-R, NGB 87-R, ASIP, RPLANS, MCCA and NG Form 593.
