Welcome to sojo, the vacation rental industry's first amenity automation platform. We connect to property managers' reservation calendars to automate ordering, storing, and kitting guest amenities – from the bathroom and laundry to the kitchen and pantry.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We're on the lookout for a seasoned Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind our event strategies, meticulously planning and executing trade shows and road shows that showcase our brand and drive business growth.

From curating show-stopping booth designs to coordinating every logistical detail, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and maximum impact at every event. RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Trade Show Coordination:

  • Strategically plan and execute our presence at industry trade shows, ensuring alignment with company objectives and maximizing brand visibility.
  • Manage end-to-end logistics, including booth selection, vendor coordination, shipping, setup, and teardown.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compelling booth designs, marketing collateral, and promotional materials.
  • Oversee on-site activities, including staff scheduling, lead generation, customer engagement, and post-event follow-up.
  • Monitor event metrics, conduct post-event evaluations, analyze and report on results, and make recommendations for optimization.

2. Road Show Coordination:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for planning and coordinating road shows and regional events, ensuring seamless execution and consistent messaging.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, travel arrangements, catering, AV setup, and collateral distribution.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop tailored event strategies, content, and presentations to drive audience engagement and lead generation.
  • Analyze event performance metrics and feedback to continuously refine strategies and improve future events.

3. Field Marketing Support:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement field marketing initiatives that align with overall marketing objectives and drive brand awareness.
  • Assist in creating event-specific marketing materials, including invitations, signage, and promotional giveaways.
  • Leverage social media and digital channels to amplify event reach and engagement, both before and after events.
  • Lead pre-event promotions to hit registration and attendance targets and post-event follow-up to maximize pipeline generation and influence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience (4+ years) in event coordination, preferably in the B2B SaaS or technology industry.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours to attend in-person events.

Location: This position will require some travel to trade shows and events, but otherwise can be remote work from anywhere in the four time zones of the lower 48 US states.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Annual Salary: $65,000 - $80,000
