Please note: While this is a remote position, local and occasional out of state travel is required (50-75%) to be onsite with clients and stakeholders. Candidate must live in Maryland or Virginia area and be able to travel as needed. Job Description
  • Support output of a key discipline within U3000 Health Engagement Organization
  • Focus on achievement of assigned goals and support in achieving functional goals
  • Inform direct managers and teams to address resou rce and operational needs
  • Focus on short-term outputs and other work areas as assigned
  • Main contributor to business strategy by understanding market benefit offerings to en sure benefit education success to clients and customers in group setting
  • Able to self-manage assignments and schedule event times
  • Demonstrate in-depth understanding of key Cigna plan benefits, ancillary programs , and initiatives
  • Work with assigned Cigna clients during pre-effective timeline to coordina te tailored education events with available modality options (on-site, telephonic, and self-service engagement options )
  • Identify customer education opportunities to drive maximum utilization of available resources (all lines of benefit plans and programs)
  • Lead and deliver virtual and/or onsite awareness and education presentations, engagement offerings , and activation duties in group setting as assigned to existing and prospective customers in Select & Middle Market Segment (U3000)
  • Coordinate with local Health Engagement team to ensure needs are met and potential problems are averted
  • Provide information to Cigna client (s) on the use of available steerage resources throughout the plan year as assigned
  • Keeps account partners informed about account status and opportunities for expanded business
  • Follows established guidelines and procedures of benefit education events and other events as assigned
  • Maintains current knowledge in all Cigna products, programs, and tactics
  • Refers customer service inquiries, administrative functions, implementation, billing questions, and other production matters to appropriate service organization partners
  • Coordinate, t rack , and update event meetings, including attendance, and top insights via data entry system (Salesforce.com) by assigned deadlines
  • May support local market community events as assigned
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's preferred; in education, marketing , business, or related field
  • 1-2 years experience in benefit education/presentation and event deployment/support
  • Current and active Health & Life License or in process of pursuing (com pletion within 60 days of hire)
  • E xcellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Programs ( PowerPoint , Word), CRM system (S alesforce.com ) and virtual learning platforms (Web Ex Meetings)
  • I nfluential sales experience preferred
  • Proven ability to excel in heavily matrixed organization and expeditious sales cycles
  • Ability to identify opportunities and support cross-sell opportunities with sales/account management teams
  • Ability to travel to local/ remote trainings/meetings as assigned (50%-75% travel, especially during open enrollment)
  • This role must be located within assigned territory/market to be able to drive to client locations, local offices
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 62,100 - 103,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
