Mature couple looking to hire an Experienced Housekeeper to join their team in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania- home is on a working farm.
The Ideal Candidate : Housekeeping for large home in Lafayette Hill that is second residence for retired couple. They reside in FL and spend summers in Nantucket and use this home when not at either of other two locations. They are typically in this home during the months of October-December and April-May. There is 1 adult child who lives on the property year round. Dusting, vacuuming, polishing silver, maintaining antiques and rugs. Helping principals unpack and light serving when they are in residence, getting dry cleaning sent out, laundry/ironing, caring for dogs. Occasional travel to Nantucket to help when they are there (in 10 years the previous housekeeper went there 3 times).
What Works Best for Family : The family has high expectations and had their last two housekeepers for about 10 years. Staff should have a positive, can-do, professional attitude, be well spoken and know the family well enough to anticipate needs and be proactive.
