Job Description

About the Role: 

This role will be part of the global Corporate Communications team that supports CBRE’s corporate functions and manages the company’s employee communications technology. Primary responsibilities will include assisting with global employee communications projects and campaigns; developing communication plans; writing and editing messages, news stories and announcements, social media posts, etc. This role will work across all of the company’s employee communications channels, so experience with Microsoft products, especially SharePoint, Teams and Engage is essential.

This job is part of the Communications job function. They are responsible for developing internal and external communications that are related to organizational values, strategy, and performance.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Assist with the development of communication strategies, plans and assets that align with business goals and project/campaign desired outcomes.
  • Support internal and external communication plans, including content and channel strategies. Ensure that key messages align with strategies, values and brand. 
  • Conduct discovery and information-gathering sessions to establish project/campaign desired outcomes. 
  • Write, edit and develop content for presentations, memos, announcements, intranet stories, press releases, etc.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard corporate communication principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Track and report project/campaign performance metrics and outcomes. 
  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams. 
  • Work within broad guidelines and policies. 
  • Explain difficult or sensitive information.
