Bridgeway is looking for Life Skills Coaches to support our Macomb, IL locations.
The Life Skills Coach has the duty of supporting individuals with developmental, intellectual and other disabilities as they make choices about their lives and play valued roles in their communities. They encourage the people they serve to explore what they want out of life, develop and enhance their life skills, and to chart their own journeys. Our minimum requirements include a High School Diploma/GED, valid driver license, driving history that meets company's insurability and reliable transportation. Direct Support Professional (DSP), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Emergency Medical Tech (EMT) or similar experience a plus!
Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification after hired along with successfully passing the Direct Support Person (DSP) credential and Medication training program. If licensed, required to maintain license requirements. Employment with Bridgeway is conditional upon completion of all governing required background checks.
