Job Title: LS/MS French Teacher

Responsibilities and Duties:
Tuscaloosa Academy seeks a French teacher for grades PreK3 - 8th Grade. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment where value is placed on the skills and passions of the discipline within a larger context of school mission and integrative thinking. Primary responsibilities include teaching five French classes per year, serving as a student advisor, and collaborating on school-wide programming as necessary and appropriate.
The Lower School and Middle School French Teacher plays a pivotal role in our school, responsible for delivering high-quality language instruction to students at the early and middle-grade levels. As a dedicated educator, this individual will design and implement engaging, rigorous lesson plans that promote proficiency in French language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and cultural understanding. The role entails fostering a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment, nurturing students' language acquisition, and cultivating their appreciation for French culture. Additionally, the Lower & Middle School French Teacher collaborates with colleagues to align curriculum and supports students' academic and personal growth.
