Job Description

Baer is looking for an S4HANA Funds Management Consultant for a 6-month Federal project located in Harrisburg, PA.

Title: S4HANA Funds Management Consultant
Location: Remote and Harrisburg, PA
Duration: 6 months
Rate: All-inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C (Vendors Not Permitted)

Description:

• Lead workshops to gather, define, and document the customer s business requirements for Funds Management (FM) in an S/4 HANA environment.
• Lead FM master data design and integration with related objects in other Finance modules, ensuring a cohesive system setup.
• Configure FM best practices in the development environment for Fit-to-Standard workshops. This includes handling master data, derivation rules, budget execution, availability control, and integration components.
• Execute data mapping, conversion, and migration activities for Funds Management in coordination with the overall data migration strategy.
• Collaborate with the business and technical teams to develop functional specifications and provide guidance on testing needs for FM-related processes.
• Leverage knowledge of FM integration scenarios with other SAP modules such as Grants Management, Procurement, Human Experience Management (HXM), and Concur to ensure smooth process flows.
• Familiarity with standard FM reports and the ability to develop custom analytical queries to meet specific business needs.
• Create and document process flows using Signavio Process Manager, ensuring a clear understanding of workflows and dependencies.

Requirements:

• Experience with public sector projects, particularly within state and local governments.
• Demonstrated experience with SAP S/4HANA Funds Management implementations, from configuration to go-live.
• Experience with creating and managing process flows using Signavio Process Manager is highly desired.
• Strong familiarity with FM integration scenarios involving Grants Management, Procurement, HXM, and Concur.
• Bachelor's Degree
