What To Expect
Tesla’s Cell Operations Team is seeking highly motivated individuals to tackle manufacturing on a challenging new process. You will be working alongside Engineers to develop an advanced new product and be among the first individuals to work on cutting edge manufacturing processes within Tesla. This fast-paced team is the perfect environment if you are interested in developing multiple skills and having an immediate impact on the future of electric vehicles. Must have flexibility to work any of the four shifts.
A: 6:00AM - 6:00PM, Sunday - Tuesday (*Wednesday)
B: 6:00AM - 6:00PM, (*Wednesday) Thursday - Saturday
C: 6:00PM - 6:00AM, Sunday - Tuesday (*Wednesday)
D: 6:00PM – 6:00AM, (*Wednesday) Thursday - Saturday

What You'll Do Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Quality Assurance, to resolve production issues and implement OCAPs (Out of Control Action Plans) Complete documentation and record-keeping tasks accurately and on time to ensure compliance with quality requirements. (Flux, Jira)Handle MRB (Material Review Board) materials following the MRB process, including identification, documentation, and disposition of non-conforming materialsSupport the operation of multiple tools simultaneously, ensuring smooth and efficient production processesClear yield alarms and conduct initial investigations, as well as start basic OCAPs to address deviations from expected performanceEnsure a high-level product quality by completing tasks such as web path checks, audits 5S activities, etc.Participate in the continuous improvement of safety, quality, output, and tool uptime
What You'll Bring Experience in large or small scale manufacturing in a production process roleExperience with operating and troubleshooting automated/semi-automated manufacturing equipment, basic mechanical troubleshooting preferredDemonstrate ability to analyze problems and error conditions, identify root causes, and implement viable long-term solutions, Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles is preferred, but not requiredCommand of the English language, both written and verbal with ability to understand and record maintenance procedures, shift pass downsComfortable with frequent change of direction, dynamic work environment and passion to perform time-sensitive analysis under pressureDemonstrated ability to be a self-driven contributor with limited supervision
