Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing medical records to identify and address documentation deficiencies. You will serve as a valuable resource and subject matter expert, providing guidance to other coding staff. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and verifying documentation to support accurate diagnoses, procedures, and treatment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze medical records to identify documentation deficiencies.
Serve as a resource and subject matter expert for other coding staff.
Review and verify documentation to support diagnoses, procedures, and treatment results.
Requirements:

Proven work experience as a Medical Coder or in a similar role.
Solid understanding of billing software and electronic medical records (EMRs).
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Outstanding problem-solving and organizational abilities.
CPC certification required.
Minimum 3 years of experience in medical coding.
Experience with acute coding is essential; MEDITECH experience is preferred.
Additional Information:

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $36.00 per hour. The pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on factors such as education, work experience, location, specific job duties, and certifications.
