Key Responsibilities
Database Management and Administration:
Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle and MongoDB databases.
Monitor database performance and implement tuning measures to ensure high availability and efficiency.
Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans for both Oracle and MongoDB systems.
Data Integration and Migration:
Develop and execute migration strategies to transition data between Oracle and MongoDB platforms.
Design and implement ETL processes to facilitate data movement and synchronization between systems.
Ensure data integrity and consistency during integration and migration activities.
Database Design and Architecture:
Design and optimize relational data models for Oracle and document-based models for MongoDB.
Architect hybrid database solutions that leverage the strengths of both Oracle and MongoDB.
Advise on best practices for database schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
Application Support and Development:
Collaborate with development teams to integrate database solutions into applications.
Provide support for database-related issues and performance bottlenecks in application environments.
Develop and maintain database scripts, stored procedures, and triggers as required.
