We are an independent contractor for FedEx.
We are looking to hire regular full-time drivers with work-related driving experience and a strong work ethic to make local residential and business deliveries from our Watertown, NY terminal.
Schedule:
Flexible Days & Weekends.
Requirements, Driver must:
· Be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record
· Have a minimum of 1 year of paid driving experience within the last three years.
· Pass a DOT physical.
· Be able to safely lift/carry up to 75 lbs. and up to 150 lbs. with a hand truck.
· Must be willing to submit to a background check
· Have reliable transportation to and from work
· Be on time and ready to work each workday
· Be able to climb stairs
· Be able to work in all types of weather.
· Have a strong work ethic and get-it-done attitude
Daily Duties include but are not limited to:
· Your vehicle must be always operated safely.
· Delivery and pick-up of packages to businesses and residences. Routes vary in number of pick-ups and deliveries, but expectations are a driver will routines perform up to 225 stops a day.
· Perform daily inspection of the vehicle including checking fluid levels
· Loading vehicles for deliveries and organizing daily loads.
· Work independently and as part of a team.
· Provide exceptional customer service and maintain appropriate communication with the manager
· Accurately operate scanner/effectively track the delivery process
· Accurate disposition of package delivery and pickup is a must and critical to our integrity.
· Consistently deliver the entire route on time.
· Adhere to uniform and FedEx daily delivery standards.
We are under contract to deliver packages under the FedEx umbrella. You are applying for a job with Jab Express Inc. and you will not be a FedEx employee.
Job Type: Full-time.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
