A bit about us : I am a single, caring mom looking to spend more quality time with my son. I share custody with my son’s father. I love hiking and reading to my son. We enjoy going for adventures and exploring cultural festivals. I work full-time and have to go into the office 3 days a week. After work, it would be my dream to have extra time laughing, snuggling, and reading bedtime stories with my son while our household manager/mother’s helper preps dinner and cleans up the kitchen. My 2-year-old son is incredibly sweet and good-natured for a toddler. He goes to daycare currently from about 9a-4p. He is loving, social, and affectionate. He is a talker and great at communicating. He’s also a great eater and enjoys food from many cultures; he has eaten lots of Indian food and knows a few Punjabi words thanks to his Grandma.
A bit about you: You are reliable, flexible, and proactive. You are friendly and down-to-earth. You don’t mind taking on extra household tasks, you enjoy maintaining a home, and also being a mother’s helper to me in the mornings before school and after work.
Job Duties: Household tasks include: Cleaning dishes, toddler laundry, sweeping the floor (every other day), moving items out of the way to use the Roomba, general tidying/maintenance of household, cleaning the bathrooms once every 2 weeks (on Wednesdays), taking out the trash, communicating household items that need to be restocked, kitchen clean-up after dinner, and running errands.
Mother’s helper tasks include: Diaper changes, bottle washing, making breakfast, packing child’s lunch, getting the child ready for school, ensuring safety, dinner prep for child and mom, and assisting with bath and bedtime routine.

Qualifications : 2 years of childcare experience with toddlers, reliable vehicle, valid Driver’s License, CPR certification, intermediate cooking skills, positive attitude, and basic swim ability.

Schedule (approximate): Monday and Thursday: 7a-11a
Tuesday: 3-8p
Wednesday 7a-7p
(25 hours a week total)
Starting ASAP! *Hours may shift over time which could result in additional hours. The schedule will be provided in advance. Pay: $30-$35 an hour **All applicants must first interview with a Jovie specialist. Qualifying applicants will meet the family prior to being hired.
