Duties and Responsibilities:

• Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, desktop remote control tools, help desk ticketing systems, and networking protocols.
• Personal computing hardware and software, local area networks, and peripherals essentials.
• Create images for Laptops and Desktops using various tools.
• Communicating effectively, both verbally and written, to technical and non-technical customers at all levels of the organization.
• Providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced, demanding environment with attention to detail and persistence to solve problems promptly and professionally.
• Configure, troubleshoot and fix fundamental technical problems.
• Think analytically and solve problems.
• Quickly learn new software applications.
• Provide coverage and address service requests to any departmental supported facility within Maricopa County.
• Work independently while effectively managing time within a large and dynamic technical environment in daily activities.
• Address a wide range of tasks as directed.

Work Experience Required:

• Five (5) years of related experience in computer/network maintenance, desktop support, troubleshooting desktop Windows 10 environment, or applications support OR

Combined education and experience qualifications:

• An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience

Education/Training Required:

• High School Diploma or GED

Other Requirements:

• Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Arizona driver's license at the time of hire.

Additional Information:

• Primary Role: Assist with the Desktop Replacement Program (DRP), working alongside an in-house technician to manage device replacements efficiently and stay on schedule.
• Estimated Time Requirement: Approximately 3 hours per device replacement, covering setup, data transfer, and troubleshooting. The expected workload aligns with the targeted completion date of October 2025.
• Key Responsibilities: Conduct hardware replacements, ensure data transfer, configure Windows 11 systems, and troubleshoot replacement issues as needed.
• Justification: Required headcount to maintain pace and ensure timely completion by 2025.
