Our client is a leading independent investment bank focused on providing expert financial advice on mergers and acquisitions and raising institutional capital to meet the growth objectives of clients. Since founding in 2004, they have advised on over 350 transactions totaling more than $100 billion in transaction value. Clients include some of the world's most renowned brands and leading Private Equity Firms. They are committed to helping clients achieve the highest value and optimal outcomes for their businesses.

What you will do:

Recruiting :

  • Maintain records of potential recruits using JazzHR.
  • Manage organizational charts and analyze hiring needs.
  • Represent company in recruiting discussions, sharing culture and programs to attract top talent.

Onboarding and Offboarding :

  • Coordinate onboarding and exit processes, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and accurately.
  • Update onboarding handbook as needed and continuously improve onboarding tools.
  • Utilize Paylocity for HR management tasks.

Intern and Development Programs :

  • Plan and coordinate intern and development programs with guidance from our founder.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with junior team members to support their growth and track their progress.
  • Understand and support the development goals of our team members.

Staffing :

  • Gain a deep understanding of our banking operations and team dynamics.
  • Monitor team workload through weekly surveys.

Performance Reviews :

  • Coordinate the annual review process using Engagedly.
  • Synthesize feedback and create summary sheets for team members.

Compensation and Compliance :

  • Assist in tracking compensation and planning bonuses.
  • Coordinate annual broker-dealer compliance training programs.
  • Maintain records of vacation and sick time and propose improvements to current systems.
  • Handle other compliance-related tasks as needed.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, etc.).
  • A few years of well-rounded experience in people operations or a similar role.
  • Background in finance or investment banking is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Passion for supporting a high-octane team and driving their success.
  • Experience with payroll processing a plus.
