PRIMARY PURPOSE

Responsible for organizing and coordinating Performance Improvement activities for assigned areas within PHHS.


MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS

Education:
-Must have a Bachelor's degree in a health related field.

Experience:
-Must have six years of experience working with performance improvement issues.

Equivalent Experience:
-May have an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in lieu of specific education and/or experience as stated above.

Certification/Registration/Licensure:
-None

Skills or Special Abilities:
-Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of data management and process improvement.
-Must have knowledge of Joint Commission standards and their interpretation as related to areas of responsibility.
-Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skill to operate a computer to input and extract information using word processing, spread sheet and data base software.
-Must be able to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing.
-Must be able to employ effective problem solving and demonstrate effective interpersonal skills. Must be able to demonstrate patient-centered/patient-valued behaviors.
-RNs Only: Maintains standards of professional conduct and performs all assigned and unassigned duties in accordance with the current State of Texas Nursing Practice Act.
