Position Summary

As the Operations Program Associate, you will perform operational and program support, as well as oversee aspects of various programs to ensure compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards. This position is responsible for:

  • Developing, overseeing, and maintaining a tracking system for multiple assessment tools and treatment to competency reporting for the Psychology Department.
  • Developing processes related to the nationally accredited American Psychological Association (APA) Internship program for the Psychology Department to ensure APA standards are adhered to.
  • Acting as the Psychology Student/Intern Coordinator.
  • Performing high-level administrative support for the Quality Improvement and Policy Standards Department by including developing, overseeing, reviewing, and communicating the results of Institute-wide quality assurance and performance improvement data.
  • Providing assistance to the Medical Services Departments (including Medical Clinic, Pharmacy, Lab, Dental Clinic, and medical staff) with multiple tasks related to appointment scheduling, ordering, and confidential tasks associated with medical appointments for patients.

Salary Information

The starting pay is $21.23 per hour after June 30, 2024. This is a minimum increase for all Operations Program Associate positions. A 12-month probationary period is required.

Pay for current or former state employees will be set based on the rules that apply to compensation for the applicable transaction. This position is in pay schedule and range 02/11.

Job Details

All applicants who may be appointed to this position will be required to allow DHS to conduct a background check to determine whether the circumstances of any conviction may be related to the job being filled.

All appointees will be required to receive a TB test, which will be administered by MMHI or medical personnel approved by the facility prior to their start date.

DHS does not sponsor work visas for this position, thus, in compliance with federal law, selected candidates will be required to verify eligibility to work in the United States by completing the required I-9 form upon hire.

Qualifications

Minimally qualified applicants will have all of the following:

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, etc., performing duties such as creating spreadsheets to track data, entering data into a database, preparing written correspondence, responding to emails, etc.
  • Experience providing customer service performing duties such as resolving complaints, answering internal and external partner questions/inquiries, answering phone calls, and forwarding as needed, etc.
  • Experience providing administrative support to a multidisciplinary team, such as preparing reports, coordinating and scheduling various meetings, responding to inquiries, assisting with meeting agendas, maintaining files, etc.

Well-qualified applicants will also have one or more of the following:

  • Experience handling confidential information and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Experience working in 24/7 healthcare facility.
