Job Purpose

ICE Endpoint Solutions is responsible for every endpoint, physical and virtual, globally which currently accounts to just under 25,000 devices globally. Master images/Golden templates, operating system updates/upgrades, security patches, software and configurations fall within the purview of our remit. Endpoint Solutions works closely with multiple IT groups within the organization to ensure proper and compliant operations of endpoints.

Endpoint Solutions - Engineering is responsible for the implementation of new technologies and platforms to manage, maintain and keep in compliance all physical and virtual endpoints globally. The EPS-Engineering team is responsible to staying current with industry trends and to make recommendations for new platforms or configuration changes in existing ones to ensure efficient and secure environment for endpoints.

Responsibilities

This position requires expert proficiency with the VMware Horizon and Citrix App & Desktop virtualization platforms, and knowledge of a range of enterprise tools and practices, an eager attitude, professionalism, and solid communication skills. 

• Virtualization - Expert- level knowledge of the implementation, management, and optimization of VDI environments. Experience with Instant Clones, Application Volumes, Unified Access Gateway, App Layering, Citrix Storefront and NetScaler preferred.
• Workstation OS - Strong experience with the management and optimization of Windows 10/11 in a virtualized environment, including experience with the VMWare Optimization Tool.
• Desktop Management Systems - Experience with building and managing desktop infrastructure using tools such as Broadcom Altiris or Microsoft SCCM/ MECM. Experience with Wyse & HP thin client management tools a plus.
• Patch Management - Experience in software and OS patch management using Altiris or SCCM within a virtualized environment.
• Scripting - Experience with management and automation scripting in PowerShell and VMWare PowerCLI. Should be comfortable performing tasks from the command line.
• Teamwork: Mentor and assist IT staff and management with their duties. Communicate strategy and provide guidance as needed to execute.
• Microsoft Intune - Experience with modernization strategies, Zero touch provisioning via Autopilot, Policy management, Mobile management, MSGraph and log analytics.
• AD/AAD - Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Azure AD.

Knowledge and Experience

• College degree in Engineering, MIS, CIS, or related discipline preferred.
• Experience/ familiarity with industry standard desktop engineering tools and practices.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Powershell, VBS, or Python for automation tasks.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with Service Now and Change/Incident Management practices.
• Experience in the Financial Services industry a plus.

Schedule

This role is in one of our offices located in Atlanta, GA or Jacksonville, FL.
