Position Title: Sr. Epic Analyst- Healthy Planet & Interoperability
Position Type: Direct Hire
Location: 100% Remote (Preference to reside in the Miami/ Fort Lauderdale area)
Work Eligibility: U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holders only.

Position Overview:
The Sr. Epic Analyst is responsible for administration and work related to our client’s Healthy Planet and Interoperability team. Provides day-to-day management of applications for complex or large applications. Responsible for supporting systems designing, building, testing, debugging and installation.
Position Requirements:
  • Must hold at minimum 1 of these certifications (see below).
  • Epic Healthy Planet Certification ( provides a suite of reports, dashboards, and workflow tools that allow care managers to manage patient populations)
  • Epic Compass Rose Certification ( extension of Healthy Planet & increases care coordination for patient populations)
  • Epic Bridges Certification ( this supports HL7 interfaces)
  • Seeking 5+ years of experience with Epic.
  • Seeking 3+ years of experience as an Epic Analyst.
  • Seeking 3+ years of Healthy Planet or Compass Rose experience .
  • Need experience with Epic Builds - creating reports, dashboards, and registries.
  • Must come from an Ambulatory background .
  • Must be willing to “Bridges, Interfaces”, and/or HL7 within Healthy Planet.
  • Strong project management skills.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • 30-40% of time will be spent in meetings with the Healthy Planet and Interoperability team.
  • 20% administrative tasks- emails, touch base with team members, etc.
  • 20% builds & upgrades of Healthy Planet.
  • 20% work with interfaces/ bridges- EX: working with Remote Patient Monitoring and helping with interfaces/ bridges in projects (both new & existing)- if there are errors, they will work to fix and upgrade.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Research the market and industry data to understand the use and prevalence of specific clinical applications within healthcare systems.
  • Recognized subject matter expert for assigned clinical application and may manage special projects for applications teams aimed at advancing the customer experience, reporting, and overall work and data flow through the system.
  • Proactively analyzes operational processes and data to identify opportunities and improve existing processes for workflow optimization.
  • Performs complex work for assigned applications including analyzing system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, identifying output requirements, input data acquisition, reporting techniques and structure, and data controls.
  • Partners with other business applications management teams and contractors to identify synergies and opportunities for improvement and works with vendors to ensure upgrades and configuration changes are maintained and accurate.
  • Manages multiple applications projects or serves as a project lead for an application module or system that requires a high level of subject matter expertise or certifications related to a specific application.
  • Maintains assigned application through partnership with technical experts, vendors, and technology teams to ensure the application continues to support end-users and to mitigate any functional or operational issues. Tests and troubleshoots existing and proposed systems to resolve and anticipate application issues, but also to verify accuracy and compliance with Memorial procedures.
  • Maintains advanced knowledge of current operational workflows that are supported through business or clinical applications.
  • Leads vendor selection, data management, and process improvement activities for assigned business applications. Contributes to the design and upgrade of systems to ensure up-to-date versions. Provides guidance to vendors on patches and upgrades needed to existing business systems to ensure up-to-date and reliable functionality fit for Memorial.
  • Generates and analyzes reports for a specific application to inform Memorial's decision-making process, improve efficiency, and to outline workflow and processes.
  • Develops or modifies established processes and procedures, leveraging market and industry research, to support application efficiency and improvement.
  • Contributes to the planning of application development and deployment, looking at existing information to identify areas for improvement. Independently provides viable resolution to end-user inquiries and problems related to applications, consulting with appropriate vendors where needed.
  • Serves as a mentor and technical resource for junior analysts to gain expertise on more specialized and complex clinical applications and functions.
