Job Title: Senior Mortgage Loan Officer

Location: Woodbury, NY or 100% Remote

Job Summary:

Keystone Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Senior Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mortgage services to clients, guiding them through the mortgage process from application to closing, and offering exceptional customer service. You will work closely with clients to understand their financial goals and find the best mortgage solutions to meet their needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mortgage lending, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

 

Job Responsibilities:

· Work with clients to understand their financial goals and recommend appropriate mortgage solutions.

· Guide clients through the mortgage process, including pre-qualification, application, underwriting, and closing for Purchase and Refinance Transactions.

· Provide clients with information on available loan programs and products.

· Evaluate clients' financial status and creditworthiness to determine suitable mortgage options.

· Maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other referral sources.

· Monitor the progress of loan applications and ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time.

· Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and market conditions.

· Assist clients with any questions or concerns throughout the loan process.

· Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient loan processing.

· Meet or exceed sales targets and business development goals.

· Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.

· Manage their pipeline to make sure that their loans are moving forward smoothly.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending or a similar role.

· Strong knowledge of mortgage loan products, underwriting, and regulations.

· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and manage a pipeline of loans.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Proficient in mortgage software and other related tools.

· Must be licensed as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) in the state(s) of operation.

· A client-centric approach with a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
