The University of Notre Dame ( ND.jobs ) is accepting applications for a UEE Talent Acquisition Consultant .

The University of Notre Dame Enterprises and Events (UEE) division is currently hiring for the position of UEE Talent Acquisition Consultant within the UEE Employee Engagement team . The UEE division leads the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives.

This position is key to accomplishing UEE staffing goals and is tasked with ensuring our hiring managers and candidates have a distinctly Notre Dame experience that is of the highest quality.

Under the leadership of the Associate Director for Strategic Staffing, the UEE Talent Acquisition Consultant handles daily execution of staffing strategy elements for the UEE division. This includes but is not limited to, creating all staff and temporary postings in our applicant tracking system, planning and logistics for all on and off site hiring events and career fairs, ensuring our hired candidates complete background checks (in partnership with HR), sourcing candidates for temporary and staff positions, conducting interviews with passive candidates, I9 compliance and reporting, minor reporting, UEE social media advertising for positions and corresponding with candidates who express interest via social media, and ensuring that UEE staffing is executing at a high standard. In addition, the UEE Talent Acquisition Consultant will provide recruitment, hiring, management, training with UEE hiring managers. As a member of the Employee Engagement team, the Talent Acquisition consultant will provide training content for UEE colleagues to deepen a culture reflective of the Notre Dame and UEE values. This position will assist in streamlining and enhancing the employee experience from the recruitment phase all the way until onboarding.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in business, psychology, training and development or related field.

Candidates must have at least 3 years of professional experience and a keen interest in talent acquisition and recruitment. Excellent relationship-building skills are necessary for developing community partnerships, along with strong written and oral communication skills. Attention to detail along with good decision making and the ability to maintain confidentiality is crucial for this role. Experience in developing, managing, and implementing processes and procedures is critical.



Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience as a recruiter or sourcing specialist is strongly preferred.
Previous work in hospitality, food service, or other high-volume recruiting fields is preferred but not required.
