Used-car inventory Purchaser
Full-time position (remote, flexible hours)
Pay: Salary + Commission
Travel required (primarily throughout the Greater-Buffalo , Greater-Rochester and Greater-Syracuse regions)

Dean Inc. is hiring a Used-Car Inventory Purchaser to acquire pre-owned vehicles from private sellers for its three locations: Lake View Ford in Conneaut Lake; Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Greenville; and Dean Honda in the South Hills of Pittsburgh.

This position is responsible for:

• Communicating frequently with the Used-Car Sales Managers to identify inventory needs at their respective dealerships.
• Sourcing private sellers through online platforms (heavy on social media).
• Scheduling and meeting sellers to appraise their vehicles.
• Arranging the legal transfer of vehicle’s title work, payment and pickup/delivery.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license.
• Established personal Facebook account.
• Self-motivated to perform.
• Willingness to drive long distances within a day.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test.

Preferred, but not required:

• Experience in the auto-sales industry.
• Experience appraising vehicles.
