Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a talented and creative Video Producer/Editor to join our team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality video content and editing it to meet the needs of various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong visual storytelling ability, technical expertise in video editing, and a passion for creating compelling content.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

Production:

  • Shoot home and away games, practices and community events as assigned.
  • Develop and pitch video concepts that align with company objectives.
  • Plan and coordinate video shoots, including scripting, storyboarding, and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with teams to capture engaging footage, managing the production process on-site.
  • Oversee lighting, sound, and camera setup to ensure high-quality production standards.

Editing:

  • Edit and produce in-game content that meets sponsorship goals.
  • Edit video footage into polished final products, incorporating graphics, music, and sound effects.
  • Review and revise edits based on feedback from stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Manage video assets and organize files for easy access and retrieval.

Post-Production:

  • Understanding of color grading, audio mixing and other post-production to ensure high quality deliverables.
  • Ensure all content is delivered on time and meets brand guidelines and quality standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and techniques to continuously improve the production process.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with basketball operations and public relations to ensure content aligns with overarching team goals.
  • Work closely with marketing, social media, and other departments to create video content that supports broader campaigns.
  • Attend team meetings to contribute ideas and strategies for upcoming projects.



QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience in video production and editing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field or prior applicable experience.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
  • Strong understanding of video production techniques and equipment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience shooting with Sony FS7, FX-3 and FX-6 in a sports environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with color grading and audio editing software preferred.
  • Experience with motion graphics and animation a bonus.


WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Travel Requirements: May be required to travel on occasion (<25% travel)
  • Work Environment: This position is based in our Camden, NJ office and works frequently from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA.
  • Recognize the sports and entertainment industry requires flexibility in working extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
