Position Overview:
We are seeking an officebased project manager to oversee and coordinate various projects within the water and wastewater treatment sector. Candidates should possess experience in water and wastewater construction, along with skills in business management, budgeting, and cost analysis. The project manager will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specified requirements. Successful candidates will excel in maximizing team performance and project outcomes while effectively planning and collaborating with project teams. Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate internal teams and external vendors for seamless project execution.
Guarantee timely delivery of projects that adhere to scope and budget constraints.
Define project scopes and objectives from estimates, engaging all relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility.
Develop and maintain detailed project timelines to monitor progress and provide monthly updates.
Utilize appropriate verification methods to manage changes in project scope, timelines, and costs.
Assess project performance using available systems, including cost management tools and proven methodologies.
Report and escalate issues to management when necessary.
Manage relationships with clients, team members, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Estimate and forecast project costs to provide a clear financial overview.
Conduct risk management to mitigate project risks.
Create and maintain thorough project documentation.
Stay updated on safety standards and provide relevant feedback and insights.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Assist with estimating duties.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
Experience managing projects in water/wastewater facilities (3+ years)
Demonstrated success as a project manager.
Strong technical background with practical experience.
Excellent client relationship management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
