DEVELOPMENT

• Develop and implement Revit Concept Template.  Establish Container Files (walls, doors, windows, furniture, etc) for various project/construction types.
• Develop document/element naming standards.
• Develop families (walls, doors, windows, etc.).
• Establish consistent Revit workflows across firm teams & disciplines.
• Develop Content Request System.
• Establish methodologies for unique project scenarios (multi-unit projects, multi- building projects, etc.).
• Create/implement cataloging system for Revit Detail Library.
• Work with Process Manager to incorporate all above.

PROJECT-RELATED MANAGEMENT TASKS

• Develop and maintain a BIM Execution Plan (BEP) for each project.
• Manage the Revit health of each project to assure efficiency and flag non- compliances.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients on Revit related issues.
• Build custom Revit Template for unique project types.
• Act as point-of-contact for model coordination with consultants.
• Configure and manage Autodesk Construction Cloud for sharing of models with outside consultants.
• Provide day-to-day troubleshooting of Revit issues.
• Generate custom families as required by individual projects.
• Upgrade current (in-progress) Revit models to Autodesk new releases.
• Lead meetings to define project-specific Revit tasks and to resolve unique Revit issues.
• Establish selected methodology for unique project scenarios (multi-unit projects, multi-building projects, etc.).
• Audit health of Revit model periodically.
• Configure revision control system as required by each project.
• Manage archiving of Revit models/files at project close- out.

SYSTEM-RELATED MANAGEMENT TASKS

• Manage standard Revit template(s).
• Manage periodic Revit updates.
• Maintain Revit Material Library.
• Maintain Revit Detail Library.
• Manage template by incorporating updates & improvements.
• Explore & test Revit plug-ins, integrate into workflow, roll-out to and train users.
• Oversee the selection and purchase of workstations to assure their sufficiency and effectiveness.

• Develop & maintain a keynoting system related to specs.

TRAINING

• Assist Process Manager in the development of Project Delivery Manual.
• Provide on-board Revit-related training for new hires.
• Manage continuous training related to firm's Revit workflows.
• Monitor new technology impacting BIM.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
• Minimum of 8 years in the architecture profession
• Minimum of 5 years directly supporting a BIM user environment
• Working knowledge of Bluebeam
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience working in BIM Collaborate Pro or Autodesk Construction Cloud
• Experience working in a team environment that fosters collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
