Position Overview:
As the Real Estate Services Manager within our Transportation Services Division, you will play a pivotal role in managing real estate needs for municipal and WisDOT clients. This role offers a hybrid home/office work schedule with remote possibilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and manage a diverse client portfolio, focusing on Municipalities and WisDOT.
- Oversee all aspects of clients' real estate requirements, including acquisition cost estimating, appraisal, negotiation, and acquisition/relocation.
- Set and manage project budgets while ensuring project oversight.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of real estate professionals.

Requirements:
Skills and Experience:
- 5 years of experience in Transportation real estate/right-of-way services, including appraisal, negotiation, and acquisition.
- WisDOT approved Appraiser, or ability to obtain within one month.
- WisDOT approved Negotiator, or ability to obtain within one month.
- Notary Public, or ability to obtain.
- Familiarity with WisDOT Real Estate Program Manual.
- Understanding and experience with real estate laws, eminent domain principles and practices, the Uniform Act, and NEPA.
- Ability to flex hours to include evenings and weekends as needed.
